Welcome to Llangefni.org

Llangefni is a market town located in the heart of the Isle of Anglesey.

It stands alongside the Afon Cefni and the town is named after the river. It is also located on the old road to Holyhead, and was historically an important stop for horse drawn carriages travelling to the port.

Llangefni is Anglesey's main market town with markets held twice a week, on Thursdays and Saturdays. The town is also the main administrative centre for Anglesey, and it is an important retail, service and industrial location.
